There's no other way to unwind and chill out better
than a good soak in geothermally heated hot springs.
Hachijo has several and as they are all uphill away
from the main town transportation is required but well
worth the effort. Prices range from ¥300 and ¥700.
The two free hot springs are not designated for washing,
and swimsuits should be worn in "Uramigataki "
the only unisex hot spring on the island.
