Accommodation is plentiful and varied on the island.
From Japanese style minshuku with tatami rooms and shared
facilities to the larger hotels with swimming pools.
Prices vary between ¥4'000 to ¥20'000 yen per
night approximately. As much of the accommodation is
in remote parts of the island a rental car is necessary.
There are also plenty of taxis on the island running
as late as 4:00am. Accommodation in and around Sokodo
and Mitsune are considered local to town and reccommended
due to its proximity to the main port and beach of Sokodo
whereas other areas require transportation designated
by this mark(*). All enquiries and bookings should be
in Japanese unless otherwise stated. Most links below
are in Japanese but should give some indication as to
prices and environs.
